Situation
A home inside a gated housing society already benefits from society-level boundary security — a main gate, guards, sometimes society-wide CCTV — but the individual property’s own boundary wall, side gate, and staff entrance are still managed the old way: a padlock, a shared key, and trust.
Where the obvious fix falls short
Adding a single “smart lock” to the front door solves the wrong problem — most break-ins and theft risk at this scale happen at the boundary or a side/service entrance, not the front door, and society-level security can’t see inside an individual property’s own walls. A doorbell camera pointed at the front door misses the side gate a delivery rider or domestic staff member actually uses every day.
What Ultra Edge deploys
Perimeter sensors cover the property’s own boundary wall and any side or service gates, distinct from and complementing the society’s main-gate security. Staff and service entrances get scheduled, logged access — a cook or driver’s entry is time-bound and recorded, rather than a shared key that’s been “somewhere in the house” for years and can’t be revoked without changing the lock. Motion and boundary-breach alerts run locally and escalate to the household without depending on the society’s own systems or on connectivity being available at the exact moment of a breach.
What this achieves
A household gets its own layer of accountability at its own boundary and its own staff entrances — independent of, and in addition to, whatever the housing society provides at the main gate — including a real answer to “who came in and when” instead of “someone had the key.”
What this doesn’t claim
This isn’t a replacement for society-level security or perimeter walls that are structurally inadequate — a low or damaged boundary wall is a construction problem to fix first, not something sensors compensate for. It also isn’t a monitored, dispatched security response; it’s detection, logging, and local/remote alerting.
