Roof tank and pump automation that never runs dry
The studio roof tank fills automatically with a failsafe off; the pressure pump runs in a timed window; neither restarts blindly after load-shedding.
Roof tanks and pressure pumps are easy to ignore until the upstairs taps run dry — or until an overflow stains a neighbour’s ceiling. Automation here is not glamorous. It is daily reliability.
What runs in the studio
In the Experience Studio at DHA Phase 5, Lahore:
- The roof tank fills automatically using the pump, with a failsafe off.
- The pressure pump runs in a 20-minute window rather than hunting endlessly.
- Pumps do not restart on their own after load-shedding.
A simple wall view shows tank status so you are not guessing. You can see the live water dashboard on our Experience Studio page.
How we’d set this up in your home
- Survey the water path — underground or street supply, roof tank, pressure pump, and where sensors can sit safely.
- Define failsafe behaviour — what must never stay on, and who gets an alert if a fill takes too long.
- Tie water into the same home controller as lighting and security so one UPS-backed brain covers the outage story.
- Test with you present — fill, stop, pressure window, and a simulated power return.
If you’d like flow and pump run-time on your dashboard, we add a flow meter and log it from day one.

Before you ask
Can this work with my existing pump and float switches?
Often yes. We assess the pump, sensors and electrical board during the site survey and keep what is sound.
What happens during load-shedding?
The controller stays on UPS. Pumps do not restart on their own when the grid returns; fill and pressure follow the rules we set with you.
